Love what we do? Want to get involved?
We always welcome the community to join in on our mission. We’ve set up three ways for you to get involved:
Donate to the Cause
Donating to our agency helps us connect as many people as possible to affordable, safe, and clean housing. There is no such thing as a small donation; big or small, your donation makes a world of a difference. How does my donation make an impact?
$25 | Cost to pull one credit report |
$35 | Application fee for one applicant |
$50 | Fuel fees for one car per week |
$100 | Cost to pay average unpaid utilities |
$300 | Average cost of basic outreach materials for HRC |
$1000 | Average hotel cost for a family for one week |
$1500 | Average rent for one month |
$1500 | Average security deposit |
Big or small, your donation is making a difference!
Become the Solution!
Partner with HRC as a landlord and become part of the solution for ending homelessness. In this partnership, HRC provides the necessary services to make this partnership work well. These services include:
Applicant Screening: Credit reports are pulled to check clients’ credit and to satisfy landlord requirements for housing.
Unit Repairs: HRC will assist with minor home repairs to satisfy HUD requirements and regulations.
Security Deposit and Rent: HRC automatically provides landlords with security deposit in full upon lease signing and ensures rent is paid in full and on time.
Problem Prevention Through Regular Home Visits: Our case managers conduct regular home visits to ensure that clients are stabilized in their new environments, that their jobs are going well, and that they are getting the support they need to maintain housing.
Many of our current landlords are happy to share their experiences and give feedback on partnering with HRC. Give HRC a call today to learn more about our services and how you can get involved (831) 424-9186 X170 or alexaj@hrcmc.org.
